This is the Rendall Building within the campus grounds of Liverpool University. It’s an amazing use of concrete built in 1963 and yes, the glass windows are all of stained glass though it’s not clear from these pictures.
If you like architecture and live in the U.K. it’s worth checking out “The Modernist” app. It has some self guided tours around key architectural buildings in a small number of U.K. towns and cities. We chose to do the University tour in Liverpool and as a result saw lots of interesting building and sculptures and learned a few things about them too. We’re definitely going to do a few more. (I will say that the directions for getting from one place to another weren’t ideal but the app is location sensitive so we knew when we’d got to where we were supposed to be!)
