#hobbyStreak 150. Added the roof for the scales. #modelRailway #modelRailroad

Just spent two and a half hours on the floor programming and debugging aspect signals and the SIGM20 controller programming I’d done.

Found two signals where the connectors had the wires reversed (so they didn’t work properly), fixed. One cable with a broken wire at one end also fixed. I now have five out of eight of these signals installed and programmed correctly but sadly there are two more that I’ve done nothing with yet (awaiting installation, was going to be tomorrow) that seem to be dead right out of the box.

Still, progress of sorts.

Must chase the order I placed for the final signal controller I ordered two weeks ago…

#hobbyStreak 149. It’s all cosmetic from here until the scale track is installed next week. Painted the PC board ties. #modelRailway #modelRailroad
Apparently it took him ages to get the tramway grooves right but seems well worth it! It’s ideal. #ModelRailway
Also my Christmas present made by my Dad has returned again, this time new and improved with a new system for holding locomotives in place. #ModelRailway
#hobbyStreak 148. Soldered those throwbars in place. There is a notch in the first head timber to engage with a spring on the throwbar to hold the points one way or the other. #modelRailway #modelRailroad

Station construction is all complete but for a couple of small details. I do then need to add posters, platform furniture, and people - as a minimum - and finish programming the signals. Then I can think about ballast!
