MobileSheets

MobileSheets is a sheet music reader application for Android, Windows, MacOS and iOS that can store your library of sheet music and guitar tablature, and offers many features to enhance your playing experience.

@verdeginnrow No worries. I am happy for all suggestions. 🙂 I maybe have a solution now. @remmie told me, #MobileSheets has indeed a free version to test and I am testing it currently. In fact, I will conduct a very short concert on monday with it (only 7 scores to conduct on a children event) and if it works for me, I will get the pay version of that app.

@bluGill I wrote an article on my website about this a couple of years ago: https://bammerlaan.nl/posts/Mobilesheets-for-sheet-music-on-Android-tablet

As far as I'm concerned, #Mobilesheets is still the best software for #Android, though unfortunately proprietary. Still better than using #Apple products though, if you ask me.

I still have a cupboard filled with sheet music, but I just quickly scan them into Mobilesheets whenever I need something. The built-in photo function works really well for that.

Using MobileSheets for sheet music on Android tablets - Sebastiaan (Bas) Ammerlaan — bariton

MobileSheets

Hallo Leute,

I'm adding #Mastodon as a #comment system to all my old #blog posts. A reaction to this Mastodon post will show up as a comment.

This one is my most popular post, but only in Dutch. I'm thinking of translating it. It's about #Mobilesheets, really the only choice when it comes to apps for viewing #sheetmusic on #Android. I give a short #guide on #howto use it for classical music.

Why not use @iRealPro instead? Or if you must have pdf, use #mobilesheets.

True, like a lot of us from Usenet days, I have oodles of crd files, but the iReal forums have all those tunes and more!

as easy as that was to whip up, #pdftk would not accept any of several variations, and hunting about there appears no evidence it has worked for anyone for at least two years. So I rewrote the script to generate the csv file that #MobileSheets accepts, which it happily did — I should have done this the first time, but whatever, now I have the book on a tablet!

And after meticulously entering seven hundred titles as #pdf 'bookmarks' it turns out #okular is lying, it doesn't save 'bookmarks' at all! At least that's what #KDE document reader says, and, sadly, #mobilesheets too.

In cyberspace nobody can hear you scream…

Frage an die Community: Nutzt ihr digitale Notenblätter auf dem Tablet anstatt Papier-#Noten? Welche Software verwendet ihr? Bisher wurde mir #MobileSheets empfohlen. Habt ihr was anderes? Vor- und Nachteile? Danke für euere Tipps
Inspired by @skalman, I spent the morning looking into how my collection of score sheets could be digitalized. I've got a #Synology #NAS, so that seems like the obvious place to store the PDFs. A Android tablet running e.g. #MobileSheets takes care of the UI, so... all done?
