Haven't read the #MobileSatelliteServices (#MSS) proposal[1] in full yet, but it (17) reserves the right to 5 MHz of the 30 MHz Up- and Downlink spectra for secure government services. Either that forces usage of what happens to be #5G n256 into a 5 MHz channel configuration, or these 5 MHz are "virtual" and we have to assume the operators have implemented effective (and secure?) network slicing from the get-go.
