Huh... Unless something else is very wrong, apparently loose debris of PETG that get stuck to the underside of the #prusa #mk3s can over time coat it in such a way that the printer will start freaking out from temperature errors...

I wish upgrading to a MK3.5 or even MK4 was cheaper. I cannot justify the upgrade when I can get a whole Core XY printer that's considered a workhorse for the same price as the MK3.5 upgrade... 😢

One nozzle replacement and cooling assembly upgrade later, and my 4y old Prusa Mk3S+ is back to printing at excellent quality.
The new cooling assembly provides a higher flow rate while focusing the air onto the extruded filament a lot better than the old one. And I replaced the worn 2yo .4mm nozzle with a new .6mm one. 10/10 worth it.

Aktuell will das #MMU2S meines Prusa #MK3S+ nicht mehr: "Spannrollen Startpunkt Fehlerhaft".

Die Achse des Motors dreht sich im Idler Gewinde: PETG ist da nicht so stabil um das Homing auf Dauer zu überleben.

Dort wird für die Befestigung eine Riemenscheibe aus Alu genommen, wo der untere Ring entfernt und das in dem Idler verankert wird.

Wird nur sehr fummelig alle Kugellager aus dem alten Idler wieder zu entfernen 😏
