Our flight back to Shenzhen was later in the day so we got to see a couple of things before we had to go back to the airport. We saw a shrine, wandered around the town (called Hirara maybe?), had lunch, and then took photos with the airport Pokemon art before our flight left

Although we usually visit islands to go to the beach we don’t spend all of our time there, and our trip to Miyako Island was no different. We also saw mangroves, a lighthouse, and wetlands

Our last trip of 2025, during China’s National Day holiday, was to Miyako Island, which is part of Okinawa Prefecture in Japan. Hong Kong currently has direct flights there and we jumped at the chance to go back to some Okinawan islands. Obviously we spent quite a lot of time at the beach
