Board games today! It's our turn to pick the main game. I think we're going to play Five Tribes. We have an old copy of the game, so it still had the slave cards. I was never comfortable bringing it out in public. I finally got the replacement cards. Can't wait to bust it out with the group!

I'm still trying to decide what to bring as a backup if a fifth player shows up. Maybe Mariposas? Mists over Carcassonne could work too.

Finally picked up Mists Over Carcassonne. Since we tend to play friendly games of Carcassonne anyway, the cooperative play was easy to get into. So far, we really like it!

Mists Over Carcassonne is a very fun cooperative game. It’s also quite hard. We came close to winning twice on level 1 and got completely trounced on level 3.
