THINGS THAT SHOULD BE SAID ON T SHIRTS

Been there, done that, got the T-shirt!
Must have in a have not world!

Art with a subtle cultural critique and a long backstory in a large multi-universe.

Suggest other T-Shirt ideas please!
E.g. Death Ray, etc.

sounds like it.. :)

In #Toronto, Scarborough is the traditional territory of the First Nations, including the #Mississaugas, Seneca, Haudenosaunee, and the Wendat.

"However, Scarborough is not a First Nations name, instead, the area owes its name to Elizabeth Simcoe, wife of the Governor of Upper #Canada, who while riding on horseback through the #Scarborough bluffs in the late-eighteenth century, was reminded of the cliffs of Scarborough in England."

I love survey #maps of town sites for their layers. This one shows what was there when the surveyor visited - "Woods composed chiefly of Small Pine and Alder" - but also the names of those who later purchased the lots the surveyor laid out. Still, it neglects the deep human #history of the place, though it mentions the #Mississaugas' continued presence.
