My 10yo is Extremely into the “Miss Peregrine’s…” series right now. The first book was a bit edgy and I had to censor a little gore and a good amount of four-letter words while I read, but either Riggs or his publisher came to their senses re: their YA audience before the second book, so it’s been smooth sailing since then.

I’m reading the third book to her right now.
