I did the second to last Quest in Mirthwood, the reward is quite sinister looking, at odds with the High Morality Character I'm running. There is apparently a final main quest, it is revealed to the player via mail. After that quest, getting married to a character of my choice; putting a pin in this playthrough of Mirthwood is wise. As there are other games I can play.
As after getting all the objectives done, it's a matter of crafting all the items and bolstering my economic power. That doesn't interest me as much, which is a shame, as the game is creepily cozy.
There's always Roots of Pacha which is getting a big update soon; That farm still needs some more work in terms of changing the layout, after all this time, I want to do that!
Dinkum's 1.0 launch is on the horizon, so that game is always going to be a big distraction...These updates are a gift that will help ease my troubled mind.
Ugh, taxes are finally finished! The numbers were right and verified after I compared them to my W-2s. Free Tax USA made the process easy...
I hope that I checked every box correctly, as there was so much in terms of checkboxes (it made my brain sizzle from overheat).
Now that this has been completed, as a treat...I am going to play more Mirthwood after washing my dishes.
I got the Barn Drawing, just after building the Coop! Building that Barn is essential for allowing the final layout to be planned, desire paths are a must. Adding lighting to those paths and other places on the farm is also crucial for a cohesive look.
The gold I'm able to raise by selling goods is nice; after saving a bit more, I can finally buy a Gold Tool Kit and mine those diamond deposits!
Feeling happy with my progress in Mirthwood...I was finally able to build the Smokehouse, Mill, and a Shed to keep all crafting related things out of the yard. I think the plans for these buildings are unreasonably priced unless you're able to pump out refined goods at a steady clip. It sucks that vendors have so little dosh on hand that selling trips take a while (even with fast travel points unlocked).
I'm now able to make more money than in previous hours. As a result, getting a Barn and Coop are possibilities within a few more hours of playtime! After all the buildings are bought and built, putting together a coherent layout; creating desire paths and use zones is a great feeling.
Daydreaming at work about how I’d furnish my farm once I’ve got all the essentials placed down. It’s going to be a cozy farm, a respite from the dangerous journeys into wilder areas of that world.
My Mirthwood play through is starting to finally beginning to show signs of progress. I’m just about to own chickens and maybe a cow, after about 20 hours because my focus was first upgrading tools.
After investing a lot in tool upgrade kits…I can focus on getting animal housing built and filled with animals for extra profit.
OMG, Fast Travel was not bugged in Mirthwood, I just needed to retrieve a maguffin in order to unlock it!
In older versions of the game, you’d need to find the camp and interact with the sign. It’s annoying the devs changed it, but now I can finally fast travel. The Steam forums was quite helpful in giving me the necessary information to fix my lack of macguffin.
