137. St Andrew's in the Square

🧠 This is a really beautiful classical church building hidden away a bit in the city centre.

⭐ I like the angle and the lamppost is lined up nicely (although it might've been better if the light was right over the tower).

And so, The Firekeeper was just out there, in Tanglewood, as he tends to be, taking photos of trees and plants and the like, walking about as he does...

This is a very manecured place. It's part golf course to keep the Tesla and Corvette drivers busy and off of the highways during the day, but if you walk out far enough, you can still find some rustic rather untouched wilderness, my kinda stuff.

I did end up walking out of the woods and finding Mallard lake right in front of me and beyond it, part of the golf course itself, but it was a pleasant surprise to walk out of the woods after half a mile of walking and "BEHOLD... LAKE".

Oh yeah and happy first post on the new instance. Holla back y'all, my ego needs it.

136. Suspension Bridge

🧠 The same bridge posted on day 49 with a different viewpoint. I couldn't decide whether to keep the full picture or crop to just the inner arch as a frame so I've posted both!

⭐ I like the framing effect with the building at the end acting as the subject.

➡️ The lampposts show that it's not exactly symmetrical an that annoys me.

135. Barbed Wire

🧠 I wanted to get a framing effect with the barbed wire. Took this ages ago and found it again. I can't remember why I didn't like it before.

⭐ I like the contrast of rusty barbed wire and overgrown space in the foreground with the structures in the background.

➡️Not sure what I would improve. Any thoughts?

🧠 This is the pond at the entrance of Kibble Palace in Glasgow's Botanic Gardens.

⭐ Before editing, the water looked quite muddy so I'm pleased with how much better it looks.

131. Finnieston Crane

🧠 The disused crane is such an imposing feature of the skyline in that area.

⭐ I like the composition - how you can see a bit of the Hyro peeking out and Exhibition Centre train station that's used by many people going there for gigs.

➡️I'm not entirely happy with the colouring and light settings but I was in a rush to get this one up so I'm going with 'good enough'.
