L'Unità: Cospito resta al 41 bis perché veste di nero

Alfredo Cospito e l’Indonesia. Cosa c’entrano? La fantasia e l’immaginazione del ministro della Giustizia Carlo Nordio e delle sue teste d’uovo non hanno limiti. Tra i motivi per i quali hanno prorogato di altri due anni l’applicazione dell’articolo 41 bis del regolamento carcerario ci sono delle cose assolutamente surreali. Dicono e scrivono dal ministero di attentati incendiari fatti in Indonesia da una cellula anarchica tra il 2024 e il 2025 che dimostrerebbero la pericolosità tuttora attuale di Cospito. Come faccia un detenuto ristretto e torturato in un carcere di massima sicurezza con il regime più duro possibile a essere messo in relazione con quanto accade in un paese lontano dall’altra parte del mondo non si capisce. Oppure lo si capisce spiegando il tutto con il bieco accanimento. Ma non è finita qui.
La motivazione della decisione relativa alla proroga concentra la sua attenzione persino sugli indumenti neri indossati da Alfredo Cospito nei giorni in cui morirono al parco gli Acquedotti a Roma due anarchici mentre confezionavano un ordigno. Facendo finta di dimenticare che il nero è il colore preferito storicamente dagli anarchici. La pericolosità di Cospito passa poi sempre secondo il ministero per il fatto che la sorella Claudia, unica familiare a incontrare Alfredo per quei pochi colloqui consentiti ai reclusi con il 41 bis, incontra amici e compagni del detenuto con i quali scambia informazioni.
Si tratta di persone che con Alfredo avevano una consuetudine da anni. Loro chiedono notizie di Alfredo che a sua volta cerca di informarsi della vita degli amici e compagni. La vita insomma per tutti è fatta di relazioni umane. Ma qui per inchiodare sempre di più il detenuto Cospito al carcere duro si criminalizza senza farlo formalmente la sorella e altre persone con alcune delle quali Alfredo in passato aveva condiviso anche la reclusione.
Anche di questi argomenti si parlerà nell’udienza del tribunale di Sorveglianza presumibilmente dopo l’estate in cui sarà discusso il ricorso dell’avvocato Flavio Rossi Albertini contro la proroga del 41 bis. Cospito inoltre aspetta l’udienza in Cassazione sui libri e il Cd musicale che i giudici avevano autorizzato potesse acquistare ma che l’ennesimo ricorso del procuratore generale aveva bloccato.

Among the reasons for extending the application of article 41 bis of the prison regulations for another two years are absolutely surreal things. They say and write from the Ministry about arson attacks carried out in Indonesia by an anarchist cell between 2024 and 2025 that would demonstrate Cospito’s current danger. How a prisoner confined and tortured in a maximum security prison with the harshest possible regime can be linked to what is happening in a country on the other side of the world is not understood. Or, one understands it by explaining everything with ruthless determination. But it doesn’t end here.

The justification for the decision regarding the extension even focuses on the black clothing worn by Alfredo Cospito on the days when two anarchists died in the Acquedotti Park in Rome while preparing a device. Pretending to forget that black is the historically preferred color of anarchists. Cospito’s danger is then always according to the Ministry due to the fact that his sister Claudia, the only family member to meet Alfredo for those few interviews allowed to prisoners with 41 bis, meets with the prisoner’s friends and companions with whom she exchanges information.

These are people who had a habit with Alfredo for years. They ask about Alfredo who in turn tries to find out about the lives of friends and companions. Basically, life for everyone is made of human relationships. But here to nail the prisoner Cospito to the hard prison, the sister and other people with whom Alfredo had in the past also shared imprisonment are criminalized without formally doing so.

Arguments like these will also be discussed at the Surveillance Court hearing, presumably after the summer when the appeal by lawyer Flavio Rossi Albertini against the extension of 41 bis will be discussed. Cospito is also awaiting the hearing in the Court of Cassation about the books and musical CD that the judges had authorized to be purchased but that the latest appeal by the Prosecutor General had blocked.

Still going through 1996 in my collection. Seems like after Psalm 69 people ignored #Ministry. Maybe due to the sludgy nature of this album, sure seems like they were listening to bands like the Melvins and Jesus Lizard. Slower grindy and noisy version of the band.
