and here i am, bragging again about a new toy! i am impressed by the size, integration, functionality and overall quality of this combo. since i've got #miniware heating plate from #adafruit i am kind of a fan of the brand, i need to say. they are something different. (from the bottom: load, two power supplies, control unit)

If you own or buy a #miniware #ES15S screwdriver, avoid the temptation to screw off the cap and a have a looksie under the display! Super short connector right underneath it that I have no idea how to plug back in now!

My work asked me if I knew any great portable soldering irons we could use while working away on our robots. I didn't have to think much as #TS101 is simply excellent for the job. It's what your toolbox needs!

I’ll still need to do some cleanup but I’m getting better at using this chipquik paste. I wish there were a less annoying applicator than this syringe…

I almost feel like I get this enough to show the robotics club kids how to do it. They had better not set anything on fire though.

It was also a bad day because I placed my hot plate down to cool but while reaching for the Flux my underside of my arm made contact with it. Luckily I got it under the cold tap and it just seams abit red at the moment #soldering #MINIWARE #MHP30M

Does anyone know resources for the used RF protocol of the #miniware mdp-p906? Looks pretty nice, but for me it would only be an upgrade to my current setup if it would allow PC control in some form. #rf #powersupply #electronics
