The other day I posted photos of #MinersMarsh in Kentville,a protected area of wetland.
A few years ago I was walking around it with a friend and glanced down to see this little creature sitting at the entrance to her nest.Fortunately I had my camera with me and ready. Nice, though short walk on Miner's Marsh in the middle of Kentville with @stevenkennard this afternoon. Signs of spring are starting to appear. It was 20ºC (70ºF) so felt very warm. Can you see the goose on the little island? There were also red winged blackbirds and others.
