Ive discovered that my forever world has an alternate universe going on

You see ive had this world since 2018. And it's bedrock, which is notorious for its bugs yeah??

On top of that, i have made copy of copy of copy and ported to and from realms. Today i hop on my realm and for a brief moment was TERRIFIED that my world corrupted. On startup, the chunks with my house and end portal were some hills!! I was seeing a glimpse of the new caves and cliffs terrain generation

How is all this part of an alternate universe? Well, the height of the hill goes above my house. It's a tower and I've called it my witch's tower. Recently, ive been hearing a wandering trader and his llamas IN MY TOWER BEDROOM walking on grass. There is no wandering villager and his llamas!!! I realize now...

My world is loading two versions of my game at the same time!!! Or at least, two soundscapes

Based on public reporting, and my testing, the Mojang Bug Tracker (also known as Mojira) returns an error when accessing any bug report.
This is caused by https://bugs.mojang.com/api/jql-search-post returning 504 Gateway Time-out.

Instead of returning the JSON data, the URL returns HTML, or more specifically, a complete HTML document without any substance (that is, a document with a title, stylesheets, and other stuff in the head, but nothing but any empty div in the body). Obviously, HTML isn't valid JSON, so JSON.parse fails. The reason for this is unknown.

https://bugs.mojang.com/api/jql-search-post appears to be getting data about the post (the request contains the post ID, in this case MCPE-230231). If I hijack the response and replace it with an empty (but valid) JSON object, I get an error saying no such post exists.

In their video on the subject, Phoenix SC got a different error message than I got (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=65H6BZ2VWgU) though the root cause seems the same. Their error message (visible at 3:31) actually displays part of the invalid JSON data, while mine does not. Their video was posted a little over an hour ago, and it was filmed sometime today.

According to MDN, a 504 Gateway Timeout "indicates that the server, while acting as a gateway or proxy, did not get a response in time from the upstream server in order to complete the request". I can not speculate about the cause, as I don't know much about this area of web development. I know frontend much better than I know backend.

Interestingly, only issues for Bedrock Edition are impacted. The Java Edition section of the bug tracker remains accessible, though I have not tested if users can post issue reports and comments.
