Temporary Accounts have been implemented on the #MinecraftWiki!
When you edit without creating an account, your IP address will no longer be shown, and instead you'll be given a temporary account with a random name using some Minecraft-related words, like "NetheriteSpiderCrab"!
This temporary account expires after 90 days and you'll get a new temp account if you edit again after that.
Only a few trusted users can view the IP addresses of temporary accounts where necessary to combat abuse.
Sent in my own nomination for Block & Quill board elections. It's a small company tasked with running minecraft.wiki.
Being a board member is both something cool and stressful. It's a responsibility but you have the occasion to be more paws on with steering, protecting and running your favorite communities.
I still have hope that a diverse cast of candidates joins with their nominations so I can feel safe with withdrawing from this year's elections, as I wouldn't feel the need to become a member but currently it seems like this will not happen.

It's a type of potato that poisons the player when eaten, rarely dropping (2% chance) from harvesting fully-grown potato crops.
It was the main mascot of the Poisonous Potato update from April Fools 2024, and is commonly known as the most useless item in the game.
