There is a proposal to create a two-block #BradyStreet #PedestrianZone (in #Milwaukee, #Wisconsin). I think Brady Street could be the living embodiment of "The Streets of Old Milwaukee," and recapture, in modern terms and with mixed uses, what will be lost forever when The #MilwaukeePublicMuseum closes. Brady Street could exhibit the sense of place, time, history, enclosure, and activity of a people-oriented #urban #neighborhood with a #carfree core as its centerpiece.
