It feels like Millenia was made by people who had the same obsessive love for #Civilization 5 as I did. The core design choices are all focused on fixing flaws in Civ5 that you only notice if you’ve done at least half a dozen playthroughs.
Take Millenia’s marquee feature of being able to bend the timeline in alternate history scenarios with altered technologies and different mechanics.

As a millennial I am ashamed of myself for believing that I didn't need to do what my parents did for me. I didn't pass on what I learned to the younger generation. I didn't teach them to parse lies, to question everything, and to be better. I'm sure they wouldn't have listened at first, but my parents never gave up on my, and I should have never gave up on them.

Recent frustrations aside, I feel like the last several weeks have been one of those breakthrough moments for my art.
It's gonna be a while before we get to the beach episode of Terraform (it's titled *The Beach Episode*), but, hey, I'm kinda working on several chapters at once. No reason not to get started on it now. The dead of winter really gets me in the mood for warm beach scenes, I guess.
