What can I say about The Milk Carton Kids? Their reputation precedes them and yet, catching them for the first time, I was struck with just how damn relaxed and funny the pair is on stage.

I wouldn’t have called myself a fan of the band before the show. I had just some familiarity with their greatest hits. Now I reckon I am. This was the most enjoyable set of songs I didn’t know a word of in recent memory.

I really should encourage my partner to pick shows more often. I doubt we’ll miss an appearance by TMCK in Northeast Ohio ever again if we can help it.

A #nowplaying post because I saw them last night and they were f@&$ing incredible! I have liked their music for a long time but had not appreciated how great they were live. Wow.

I didn’t have any on vinyl so bought this at the show although I was tempted to get their newest album instead. But this will now be in heavy rotation on the turntable above my work computer in the basement. ❤️
