The clarity of the early summer light was stunning yesterday.
We headed over to #Freshwater so that my husband could photograph the wildflowers I'd spotted a few days before, when the weather wasn't quite as favourable.

This is quite a famous drive here on the #IsleofWight The #MilitaryRoad is recognised as one of the most beautiful roads in the UK.
Walking slightly off the beaten track to gain this angle my husband took this photo just as night fell, shortly after sunset.

I thought I'd share this image of #TennysonDown on the #IsleofWight , taken a couple of years ago by my husband.
This view shows the #MilitaryRoad which has been recognised as one of the most beautiful drives in the UK. On a couple of occasions each year the sun sets in this position and lights up the road. You have to be there at the right time and the weather needs to be kind!
