sgt1372Just watched an old #MarkWahlberg & #JohnMaklovic movie called #Mile22 (2018) on #PrimeVideo that I hadn't seen before.
It seems like a simple #Gaunlet style flick but it's more than that & it has taken me a couple of viewings to "get it."
It's also a revenge movie on 2 different levels.
Wahlberg plays a really an extremely intelligent but likewise extremeley annoying, hostile, confrontational & pedantic CIA agent, contrary to the more subdued but still intelligent type that he normally plays.
Like the movie generally but there are still a lot of plot gaps & questions but, if you aren't bothered by that, you should enjoy the movie if you like a lot of shoot outs.
Unlike #Warfare (2025) that I just saw at my local #AMC, virtually everyone dies. 🤷♂️
I'd give this a 6 out of 10 but won't be buying the DVD.
