He is the author of two powerful books: The General's Son: The Journey of an Israeli in Palestine, and Injustice: The Story of the Holy Land Foundation Five. His father was an Israeli General who fought in 1948 and again in 1967, his grandfather signed Israel's Declaration of Independence, and Miko also served briefly in the IDF.
