@meowski @interfluidity Nope. #TedCruz and #MarcoRubio knew how to work the system since they were already elected officers, and the same could likely be said of #MikeHuckabee. #VivekRamaswamy was no less qualified in 2024 than #Trump was in 2016, the real reason people in the #GOP didn’t like him was either 1) they were in the #MAGA cult and didn’t feel like they could turn away from #Trump 2) they were antivaxx 3) they were racist.

The idea that #Trump was the only one who could have put all the pieces together is a bit absurd. “I alone can fix it” is the line that’s only 100% convincing from within the framework of the #MAGA cult.

@meowski @interfluidity There are plenty of people other than #Trump who would have stemmed the bleeding in that regard. The #GOP field in 2016 and 2024 were chock full of them.

I will forever be disappointed that the #GOP chose #Trump over the likes of #TedCruz, #MarcoRubio, #BenCarson, #VivekRamaswamy, #MikeHuckabee, etc.
