C.Seeing @mike_doughty_ and Scrap onstage yesterday was excellent. 4th time between solo/Soul Coughing, 2nd w Scrap, 2nd time @ The Ark.
I made the self-effacing jokes about everyone in the crowd on a Tuesday being "AARP/adjacent, but make it Hipster" as I appreciated having a chair bc this person does NOT do standing gen admission any more...
...but honestly, it was simply refreshing to sit w/o phones to watch a show in a space of collective enjoyment.
