Durante i colloqui tra Stati Uniti e Cuba sul futuro dell'isola, funzionari dell'amministrazione Trump hanno chiesto a Cuba di rimuovere il presidente Miguel Díaz-Canel dal suo incarico, secondo quanto riferito dal New York Times.
