Finished watching the Urban Fantasy series "Midnight, Texas". Without spoilers, in one of the last episodes, someone villainous says, "Make Midnight great again!" and I love such political hints.

So if anyone tells you, SFF stories are not political, that's a nice example that many of them actually are. Art is always political to some extend.

Ich sehe zurzeit die Urban Fantasy Serie "Midnight, Texas". Aber ich möchte sie nicht bingewatchen. Stattdessen habe ich mir nun vorgenommen, ich erkläre den Montag zu "Midnight Monday" und gucke jeden Montag eine Folge. Dann hält die Serie sozusagen länger vor. 😊 Sie ist nicht allzu lang, von daher ist das hoffentlich gut machbar.

I love Urban Fantasy and the trope "Found Family". In "Midnight, Texas" (a TV series based on books by Charlaine Harris) there is both. Haven't watched all of it yet, but so far, I like it. 😊 What's not to love about a fictional town with lots of supernatural beings?
And there is some diversity (BI_PoC characters, a queer couple).
