LA NOTIZIA: La guerra in Libano si aggrava: Israele intensifica i raid su Beirut e Hezbollah promette “vendetta”
Nel silenzio generale dell’occidente, letteralmente concentrato sulla guerra in Iran, si aggrava di ora in ora il conflitto parallelo in Libano. Nella notte, Beirut è stata scossa da una nuova ondata di raid israeliani in cui hanno perso la vita almeno 12 persoen e oltre 40 risultano ferite.
Come testimoniano i media mediorientali, i raid hanno colpito obiettivi militari ma anche zone densamente abitate a Basta, Zuqaq al-Blat, Bachoura. In un video si vede un edificio residenziale di 15 piani centrato in pieno. A Sidone, nel sud del Paese, è stata colpita in pieno un’automobile in cui hanno perso la vita due persone. Insomma la situazione peggiora, lasciando presagire l’ennesima escalation del conflitto in Medio Oriente.
Israele vuole mettere fine al regime del terrore di Hezbollah
Le forze armate di Israele (IDF) rivendicano gli attacchi, affermando di aver colpito obiettivi legati a Hezbollah. In particolare i raid avrebbero preso di mira infrastrutture, centri finanziari, e basi operative, usate dal gruppo filo iraniano che, dal momento dell’inizio del conflitto tra Usa e Israele contro l’Iran, è sceso in campo unendosi alla resistenza da parte del brutale regime di Teheran.
I numeri complessivi fanno impressione e in diciannove giorni di combattimento sarebbero già state registrate oltre 900 vittime, a cui si aggiungono migliaia di feriti e, secondo le stime più prudenti, almeno un milione di sfollati.
Una catastrofe umanitaria che ha spinto il presidente libanese Joseph Aoun – criticato per la sua linea cauta – a invitare la politica a unità e solidarietà, rinunciando a divisioni e incitamenti settari. Secondo il portavoce della presidenza, Aoun ha sottolineato anche che gli sviluppi in corso richiedono un attento monitoraggio e un alto senso di responsabilità nazionale, lontano da interessi particolari e calcoli personali, auspicando la ripresa del dialogo tra Libano e Israele che, però, Benjamin Netanyahu continua a rifiutare.

In the quiet preoccupation of the West, literally focused on the war in Iran, the parallel conflict in Lebanon is worsening hour by hour. In the night, Beirut was shaken by a new wave of Israeli raids in which at least 12 people died and more than 40 were injured.
As Middle Eastern media testify, the raids targeted military objectives but also densely populated areas in Basta, Zuqaq al-Blat, and Bachoura. In a video, a 15-story residential building was hit squarely. In Sidon, in the south of the country, a car was hit directly, killing two people. In short, the situation is worsening, foreshadowing yet another escalation of the conflict in the Middle East.
Israel wants to end Hezbollah’s terrorist regime.
The Israeli armed forces (IDF) claim responsibility for the attacks, stating that they struck targets linked to Hezbollah. In particular, the raids targeted infrastructure, financial centers, and operational bases used by the Iran-backed group, which, since the beginning of the conflict between the US and Israel against Iran, has joined the resistance alongside the brutal regime of Tehran.
The overall numbers are impressive, and in nineteen days of fighting, more than 900 people have already been killed, along with thousands of injured, and, according to the most cautious estimates, at least one million displaced persons.
A humanitarian catastrophe that has prompted Lebanese President Joseph Aoun – criticized for his cautious line – to invite politics to unity and solidarity, abandoning divisions and sectarian appeals. According to the President’s spokesman, Aoun also emphasized that the developments underway require careful monitoring and a high sense of national responsibility, away from special interests and personal calculations, hoping for the resumption of dialogue between Lebanon and Israel, which, however, Benjamin Netanyahu continues to refuse.

Secondo quanto riferito da un alto funzionario iraniano, la Guida Suprema dell'Iran, Mojtaba Khamenei, ha respinto le proposte di riduzione delle tensioni o di cessate il fuoco con gli Stati Uniti, presentate a Teheran da due Paesi intermediari. Lo riporta la Reuters. La posizione di Khamenei, che auspica una vendetta contro Stati Uniti e Israele, è stata "molto dura e decisa" durante la sua prima riunione di politica estera, ha affermato il funzionario, senza specificare se la Guida Suprema fosse presente di persona. L'alto funzionario, che ha chiesto di rimanere anonimo, ha dichiarato che il nuovo leader ha chiarito che non è "il momento giusto per la pace finché Stati Uniti e Israele non saranno messi in ginocchio, non accetteranno la sconfitta e non pagheranno un risarcimento".
