Three #CivilRights activists were #lynched by the #KuKluxKlan in Mississippi on #ThisDayInHistory in 1964. #JamesEarlChaney was a #union worker and #CORE member; #AndrewGoodman & #MickeySchwerner were #Jewish activists from NY. The state gov. ignored it, as it backed #KKK terror.
