The Michigan Senate passed SB 1052 (sponsored by Senator Darrin Camilleri) today. This is a hazardous waste bill sparked by the Manhattan Project nuclear waste transfer to the Belleville/Van Buren area. It was a 10-4 vote mostly along party lines.
