Ich mag dieses „Finde jemanden, mit dem zusammen du einfach krass weird sein kannst“-Sujet eigentlich immer verführerisch. Und auch dieser Film hat mich ein Stück weit damit gekriegt. Was mit zunächst total erzwungen albernem Slapstick anläuft, entwickelt sich dann doch noch zu einer zunehmend selbstbewussten Komödie. Denn dass hier niemand das Rad neu erfinden wird, ist klar. Vielmehr lässt sich der Film freiwillig auf die Genrekonventionen ein und überspannt den Bogen ab und zu mit einem Hauch von Augenzwinkern.
