The carriages of the #Villach 🇦🇹 to #Udine 🇮🇹 #MiCoTra cyclists’ train have received a distinctive livery recently: the yellow eagle (representing the Friuli-Venezia Giulia’s coat of arms) and the three black lions (for Carinthia) are on display around the passenger access doors.

Late summer in #Carinthia #Kärnten #Koroška 🇦🇹🇪🇺. A day out on the bike 🚲, starting with the #MiCoTra train and its big bicycle carrying vans, followed by a (late) cyclist’s breakfast 🍳☕️. Finally, along the #Gailtal cycling trail, to lake #Presseggersee for a swim 🏊‍♂️.

Warmbad #Villach 🇦🇹 is a spa resort in southern Austria. It’s also a spot on a busy railway line. The lovely station building dates from 1873: it is 150 years old and even comes with a train station buffet.
The #Micotra cyclist‘s train from Villach to #Udine/#Trieste 🇮🇹 makes a stop here, as well as the S-Bahn commuter lines to #Rosenbach, on the Karavanks line, and #Hermagor, over the Gailtalbahn.
