"In the meantime, Asha paces in the wolf pen at Sevilleta National Wildlife Refuge, suffering for having figured out instinctually what humans are yet reluctant to accept: Interstate 40 is a roadblock in Mexican gray wolf recovery, but itβs entirely surmountable. It just takes a bit of courage to see the opportunities that await on the other side."
Arizona Game and Fish Department didn't really like getting called out by WWP's duty director last month, so they put out a straw man response. These folks can't handle the truth β that #MexicanWolf recovery depends on removing the I40 boundary β so they just tell stories about how it's all going swimmingly as is. π€₯
