WOOOOF, those are some hard lyrics. I'd never heard any other #mewithoutyou songs, so the change in style from the other one really took me by surprise.

Took me a while to realize that the January 1979 "crash" was referring to his birth.

He's really hitting the theodicy note hard in this one.

"The Beetle King on a Coconut Estate" is a song that brings me to tears every time I hear it. It's so intense.

Figured this was the perfect time to post this one.

mewithoutYou is a band I've had in regular rotation for about a year. And just in the last couple of days, I finally listened to Ten Stories and... geez, what rock have I been under?! This is some of their best work period!

mewithoutYou is extremely underrated! Their material is some of the most uniquely delivered with their instrumentals (whether they go heavy, softer, or a blend of both) and Aaron Weiss' poetic and potent lyrics. It's terrific music, period!
