Finally read the rebooted English-language Metal Hurlant #2 (I've had #3 on the shelf for a while!) Gorgeously psychedelic SF and fantasy comics that treat the medium like poetry: linger over every frame and don't try to pin the meaning down…

I loved every story, but of the reprinted classics it was Phillippe Druillet's 'Gail' that took the biscuit for me, and of the new pieces it was 'The Olene Flower' by Aurélie Crop.

En se promenant sur le boulevard saint laurent, au détout d'une librairie je trouve et lis mon premier #metalHurlant je ne savais pas trop à quoi m'attendre mais aimant la #scienceFiction il était possible que ça me plaise!
C'était un très bon kiff! Certaines histoires étaient trop perchées pour moi mais d'autres tip top moumoute pour critiquer la société actuelle.
Je recommande donc ;-)
