#MetRoadTrip concluded yesterday with us driving 440 miles (708km) home from Ghent via Eurotunnel, with a total of 3,900 miles (6,276km) done in our little electric Corsa over the past 20 days! 😳 Keep an eye out for more pics.

Sad that #MetRoadTrip is nearly over! We’re currently in #Ghent and will head back to Newcastle via Eurotunnel after having driven all the way to Helsinki, Finland in our electric car over the past 2.5 weeks. 🤘

Had a wonderful time at #Suomenlinna sea fort yesterday. It’s a group of connected islands reached by a short ferry trip from #Helsinki. It is full of old military architecture, a naval academy, museums, places to walk and enjoy summer, and lots of nature.

The geese were so chilled that they walked right up to us with their babies! We sat quietly and watched them. Same with the oystercatchers who normally give humans a wide berth on beaches back home.

My 2nd time seeing the amazing #Apocalyptica was tonight in #Helsinki - they were on top form for their home crowd.

Watching a cellist is always incredible but when they’re headbanging away, swinging their long Finnish locks and knocking out the Metallica tunes, it’s quite something! 🤘🎻
