Sat down yesterday and spent some time cleaning up my G1 Merry Treat pony. :) She's almost good as new, now! Combed out her mane and tail (compare it to before in the photo in the toot above this one), and wiped her down with some dish soap-y water. That final image is what one swipe with a cotton pad and dish soap looked like.  Many years of accumulated scuzz!

There's a mark near her eye I couldn't get rid of, plus some black bits on her cutie mark, and some scuffs on her feet. There's a tiny nick in her left ear, but other than all that… she looks great! No yellowing or anything. :D

I looked on Ebay for a replacement comb for her (she came with a Christmas Tree-themed comb originally), but the cheapest is $6 CAD (fine) plus $21 shipping (oi). x__x Not sure if I want to spend upwards of $30 for a replacement accessory (it's not like I'm a collector, this is the only pony I have!).

Still, she makes me happy. :) Any tips on how to display/store her without deterioration? Out of direct sunlight is a given, of course.
