From Tokyo to Chitose

We checked out of the Mercure & had seafood donburi at Tsukiji. After we visited the Namiyoke Inari Shrine, had sushi, & visited Hibiya Park. We then headed to Haneda to fly to Chitose on JAL and took a bus to the ANA Crowne Plaza Chitose.

From Tokyo to Chitose

We checked out of the Mercure in the morning and headed to Tsukiji for an early seafood donburi lunch. After we visited the Namiyoke Inari Shrine, had some sushi, and spent some time at Hibiya Park. We then headed to Haneda, getting our bags from the Mercure on our way. We flew to Chitose on JAL and took a bus to the ANA Crowne Plaza Chitose for the evening.

Cats, Planes, and More in Tokyo

After waking up at the Mercure, we visited Haneda-jinja (aviation safety) and Gotokuji (Maneki-neko). We saw a fantastic Mount Fuji view and visited Azabudai Hills before ending the day with winter illuminations at Roppongi and the Meguro River.

Cats, Planes, and More in Tokyo

After waking up at the Mercure, we visited the nearby Haneda-jiinja, popular for aviation safety, before going further away to Gotokuji, a temple with thousands of Maneki-neko. We then came across a fantastic Mount Fuji view, had lunch, and checked out the new Azabudai Hills before dinner nearby. We ended the day by viewing winter illuminations at Roppongi and the Meguro River.

Enoshima

After waking up at the Mercure, we headed over to Enoshima. Once we arrived at the island, we had lunch before visiting the island's temples and the Sea Candle. We then went to the Enoshima Caves before leaving Enoshima around sunset. We had dinner on the way back at Yokohama Station.

After waking up at the Mercure, we headed over to Enoshima by train, getting breakfast on the way. Once we arrived at the island, we had an early lunch before visiting the island's temples and the Sea Candle. We then went to the Enoshima Caves before leaving Enoshima around sunset. We had dinner on the way back at Yokohama Station.

Mount Takao

After waking up at the Mercure, we had breakfast at Rokurinsha in Tokyo Station and visited the summit of Mt. Takao. We enjoyed the view as well as the Takao-san Yakuo-in before returning to Tokyo for the winter illuminations at Tokyo Midtown and Tokyo Midtown Hibiya.

Mount Takao

After waking up at the Mercure, we went up to Tokyo Station where we had tsukemen for breakfast at Rokurinsha. We then took the train to Takaosanguchi, a chairlift partway up Mt. Takao, and then walked up to the summit. We enjoyed the view as well as the Takao-san Yakuo-in before returning to Tokyo. We then went to see the winter illuminations at Tokyo Midtown and Tokyo Midtown Hibiya.

After leaving Guam and returning to Haneda, we checked in at the new Mercure Tokyo Haneda Airport. We visited the atré at Shinagawa Station where we had lunch at the new Toriton kaiten sushi restaurant. We spent the evening looking at the winter illuminations near Tokyo Station.
