I made this while struggling with being alone at home again; I'd been working on my struggles with asking for things that I want, which were exacerbated by my inability to decide on - or even realize - what it was that I wanted, let alone ask for it in the first place.

Learning that I need to understand myself better before I can expect it of others, and get good things from them, was a huge step on my journey of self-discovery.

I realized halfway through the process that I actually hadn't drawn Chocolate Chip exactly on model, and looks more like a midpoint between me and her. I didn't bother "fixing" it since that has plenty of implications that I think elevate the piece even further.

#Herat: ARCS Vice President Assesses #Health_Services and Properties of Organization

During his visit to Herat Province, the Vice President of the #ARCS, Hafiz Azizur Rahman, visited the #Mental_Health Care and Treatment Center, the Hazrat Abubakar Siddiq Basic Health Clinic, the residential facilities of Marastoon beneficiaries, and ARCS-owned properties in the province.

During the #visit, he reviewed the activities being carried out at these facilities, #assessed the quality of services provided to patients and residential beneficiaries, and evaluated the overall health and administrative operations. He commended the #dedication and efforts of the officials and staff.

He also provided guidance to health and administrative personnel on further improving service delivery, ensuring #professional and compassionate care for patients, and maintaining the timely provision of #quality_services.

In addition, the Vice President listened to the concerns and #challenges raised by staff and officials and assured them that their issues would be addressed.

As part of his visit, he also inspected ARCS-owned lands and properties located along Khawaja Abdullah Ansari Road and Bagh-e-Millat Road in Herat City. He #emphasized the importance of safeguarding these assets and provided recommendations on their effective utilization and proper management.

I need to stress about this piece that it comes from a good place.

This feels like a spiritual successor to Smoke, upping the ante, but in a way that's fit for purpose as I've been striving to do better and live up to my potential.

I worked on this after an intense day, when I had a moment of clarity about how I make a living off of pursuing a good life, then relaying those feelings and emotions that come about from it through my art, for others to see and learn from.

This is an exhausting cycle of consistent vulnerability that I'm proud to have maintained, but the reality of it hit me hard. For years I've been desperately seeking out how to make this a sustainable endeavor, since at it's core, it's been:

To cut myself open and show everyone as much as I can of what's inside.
It may come at a very heavy price, but to me, it's worth it,
because it feels so damn good for me to be seen, understood, and appreciated that way.

#Kunduz: 36 Recovered Mental Health #Patients Returned to Their Homes

The #ARCS discharged 36 recovered male and female #mental_health patients from the Mental Health Care and Treatment Center of Northeastern Zone in Kunduz Province, and they returned to their homes after completing their #treatment.

Currently, around 400 mental health patients are receiving care at the center. They were referred from the provinces of Kunduz, #Takhar, #Badakhshan, and #Baghlan and continue to receive ongoing treatment and regular health monitoring.

It is worth noting that ARCS #operates mental health care and treatment centers across six zones of the country (#Kabul, #Kandahar, #Nangarhar, #Balkh, #Herat, and Kunduz), where patients are provided with medical and #psychological services.

Through these centers, ARCS strives to #support patients in returning to normal life and facilitate their reintegration into society.
