i have some bad anxiety and depression. like, pretty darn bad -- especially anxiety. it was caused pretty specifically by the environment i grew up in. it makes my brain very scattered, and makes it difficult to talk plainly a lot of times.

I think it makes sense to talk about this on #MentalHealthAwarenessDay because sometimes other people will try to bright side your mental health stuff for you, which isn't okay - but it can be tremendously helpful to do it for ourselves
