🇫🇷 Grand Tour de l'Ouest 2016 - Jour 4 - 2 mars 2016

Du Mont-Saint-Michel à Saint-Malo

Le début du mois de mars est caractérisé par une météo changeante... Avant de quitter la Normandie pour la Bretagne, une visite guidée du Mont-Saint-Michel était obligatoire et ce fut une très longue visite animée par une guide très enthousiaste! Il y a tellement de photos que j'ai choisi de montrer la vue du sommet en direction du continent (photo 1).

Après cette visite direction Dol-de-Bretagne, notre première halte en Bretagne et la première crêpe sucrée! 🙂 Et une grosse averse juste après avoir passé la "frontière" entre Normandie et Bretagne!

A Dol-de-Bretagne, le premier Menhir aussi (photo 3) au champ Dolent.

Après Dol de Bretagne et un nouveau panorama sur les alentours (photo 2), direction Cancale (photo 4), l'idée étant de suivre autant que possible la côte.

L'itinéraire nous mène donc à Saint-Malo avec une dernière halte avant le soir à la pointe du Grouin (voir photo dans un autre message).

From the "Mont-Saint-Michel to Saint-Malo

March is known for its changing weather... Before leaving the Mont-Saint-Michel, a guided tour of the Abbey is a absolute must and we also had the luck to have a guide who was very enthusiastic. I took a lot of photos and it's hard to choose... So I decided for this panoramic view from the terrace on the mainland (photo 1).

After this visit, let's go to Bretagne. First stop will be in Dol-de-Bretagne and fun fact, as we passed the "border" between Normandie and Bretagne, we had to "enjoy" a heavy rain fall!

In Dol-de-Bretagne, the first sweet pancake was on the menu. 🙂

After another panoramic view (photo 2), we visited the first megalithic site : the Champ Dolent and its Menhir (photo 3).

We wanted to follow the seaside as much as possible and the road led us to Cancale (photo 4) and finally the Pointe du Grouin (photo to be see in another post) as the last stop before reaching Saint-Malo.
