Another volume of #Malazan is complete! #MemoriesOfIce is just as epic in scope as the first two volumes and just as satisfying, but man, are these books A LOT.

The death of Whiskeyjack and the resulting grief as felt by different characters is beautifully done.

It's just a stupid fantasy series, right? But fuck me if all this honor and friendship shit doesn't hit hard... Along with the Itkovian arc, the last hundred or so pages of #memoriesofice can be emotionally overwhelming.
