If you're at a loose end today, the Govan Stones is having a free open day between 11am and 4pm. This includes an achaeological survey of the Govan Old Parish Churchyard which has a number of interesting gravestones, such as ones like this which feature memento mori, or reminders of death.

💀✨ Dans la chapelle Cornaro, à Rome, le marbre ne se contente pas d’être beau : il sait aussi être un peu dramatique.

Ces squelettes incrustés dans le sol ajoutent au décor baroque une présence à la fois élégante, macabre et étrangement vivante.
