Vicky Krieps trägt diesen mit einer unglaublichen Präsenz und Zartheit. Die Aufnahmen im norwegischen Fjord sind sehenswert.

Hélène and Mathieu live together in France. When confronted with a diagnosis of a life-threatening illness, she searches for her inner peace. Hélène is inevitably drawn to Norway, which puts her love for Mathieu to the test. The film deals with questions about the end of life, about letting go and freedom of one's own decision. I saw the films "Where the Crawdads Sing" and "More Than Ever" shortly one after another. It was remarkable, that regardless of context, the love and sex scenes are demonstrated completely differently.
"...Crawdads" builds up on Hollywood prudishness and first-time pathos, that seems so unrealistic - independent of the topic of male violence.
