I learned this morning that the voice actress for both Mega Man and X in MM8 and MMX4 is the same person, as well as the voice of Clown Man. I looked this up because my 6yo saw me playing X4 and asked "why does he sound like a girl?"

In an interview she also confirmed she was given the lines with "Bass" but had no context if it was supposed to be the fish or the music clef, just guessed, and the Japanese production staff probably just didn't know either, which is hillarious.
