🌟 #MeetOurDataStewards #8: Cornelia Wetzker

Conni organizes workshops that teach scientists and staff the concepts of #ResearchDataManagement in bioimaging. While guidelines and policies are increasingly being implemented, the real challenge for researchers lies in translating #FAIR principles into their daily research practices and applying them sustainably.

πŸ‘‰ @nfdi4bioimage publish numerous #RDM workshop materials on Zenodo.

πŸ’₯ #MeetOurDataStewards: Why is Data Management important? #7: Cornelia Wetzker

Although processing and analyzing multidimensional data sets can be quite demanding, it is important to conduct research in a #FAIR and sustainable manner. The @nfdi4bioimage data stewards can help by providing training on proper data handling and annotation.

πŸ‘‰ If you want to learn more about data management or need help with image data annotation, feel free to contact Cornelia via https://nfdi4bioimage.de/help-desk/

🌟#MeetOurDataStewards: Cornelia Wetzker

We’re excited to introduce Cornelia Wetzker, @nfdi4bioimage as our featured member this month. Cornelia is a trained life scientist and microscopy specialist and now supports scientists in bioimage data management. She can help you with requests regarding research data management in general, #bioimage data handling and management e.g. in the platform #OMERO and publication in public repositories.

🌟 #MeetOurDataStewards #6

In our recent blog post, Maximilian MΓΌller describes the implementation of an #OMERO image data management system at the UniversitΓ€t Konstanz, and the challenges he faced in ensuring not only that the system would run, but also that it would be accepted and used over time.

The most important lesson he learned: technical infrastructure alone is not enough β€” success depends on user engagement, institutional alignment, and a long-term vision.

🌟#MeetOurDataStewards: #4: Vanessa Fuchs

In today's blog post, Vanessa tells you about her first steps toward making her data reusable. What was overwhelming at first, Vanessa was able to organize, structure, and pack into folders step by step. In the end, the data was accessible, annotated, and reusable and her colleague was able to seamlessly reanalyze it.
