In our recent blog post, Maximilian Müller describes the implementation of an #OMERO image data management system at the Universität Konstanz, and the challenges he faced in ensuring not only that the system would run, but also that it would be accepted and used over time.

The most important lesson he learned: technical infrastructure alone is not enough — success depends on user engagement, institutional alignment, and a long-term vision.

In today's blog post, Vanessa tells you about her first steps toward making her data reusable. What was overwhelming at first, Vanessa was able to organize, structure, and pack into folders step by step. In the end, the data was accessible, annotated, and reusable and her colleague was able to seamlessly reanalyze it.
