Dr. Luther Castillo Harris was the first Garífuna* to graduate from Harvard University. But his journey began in the classrooms of Havana, Cuba. He earned his medical degree from the #LatinAmericanSchoolOfMedicine (#ELAM) in Cuba. Now he is serving as Honduras’ Secretary of State for Science and Technology.
