New paper out 🏳️‍⚧️! So excited getting to work on this project spearheaded by the amazing Sangeeta in all their #medanthro brilliance, and to all of our participants who shared their wisdom. In this paper we explore among other things, how zero of our participants got their primary health information about #tucking from HCWs, and only 3 were even comfortable asking. Tucking is a community driven practice, and we in #medicine need to step up and listen— but also to change how we relate to #TransHealth. This is the first paper that I feel represents my experience on this topic, and I'm glad it's out in the world. 🎉 #PublicHealth #trans #GenderAffirmingCare
