Good news: I have ripped the audio tracks from my #MechWarrior2 CDs.

Bad news: I now crave correct metadata. Which tracks were by Jeehun Hwang and which by Gregory Alper? Does Kelly Walker Rogers get a credit as the sound and music director? Which name do I use, "Anomaly," "Silent Thunder," or "Rust Heart?"

I don't always go to great lengths to make playing old games elegant, but when I do; I add a #XAML GUI to the #Powershell script that installs 13 different editions of #MechWarrior2 and its companion games, Ghost Bear's Legacy and Mercenaries.

#VGMWednesday bonus because I was reminded of #MechWarrior2. Because the game's music was CD audio tracks rather than data files, I would put the disc in my fancy shmancy Compact Disc player and fall asleep listening to it, but I can recognize that some people might not want to hear the original songs at their original quality. Timothy Seals did an album arranging some of the songs. Here's "Umber Wall," which had been track 1 for the game's soundtrack.
