True, I suppose, that "most people" don't care how the sausage gets made.
But it's necessary, and I'm grateful, that _some people_ do care about how the system currently operates, what it means in the bigger picture, and how we can make it work better.
Decentralization is an important principle that applies at multiple scales of system organization. In general, centralization of power leads to a system being out of touch with conditions at its edges—where interaction, consequences, and meaningful growth can develop.
