Rotary ClicksLooking at all the various local universities and there is zero acknowledgement of older learners. Entry criteria are so focused on school leavers or adjacent that people like me, 50-somethings with 30+ years of work after leaving school are effectively stonewalled. What use is "all applications are handled through UCAS" to me, when I need to speak to someone about converting life & career into fucking points for specific courses.

deantoir_ceardaiochtaSide note, I use the term #AdultStudent instead of #MatureStudent for a few reasons. But it's mostly because I hate the word mature for all the baggage it carries with it. It has the implication of being dead inside, joyless etc. While an adult is just a term for someone above a certain age.
